Patricia E. Lane

Patricia Ellen Lane, 79, of 619 Cayuga Ave., Watertown passed March 4, 2018 at Hospice of Jefferson County at the Ellis Farm, where she had been a resident since January.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 9 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in N. Watertown Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 8 at the funeral home.

She was born on March 7, 1938 in Manhattan, NY, daughter of John and Paolina Loschiavo Kenefick.  Patricia graduated in 1956 from the Julia Richmond High School in Manhattan.

Following school she worked for Equitable Insurance Co. from 1956 until 1975.  She met John Calvin Lane, of Watertown, while he was living and working in NYC.  The couple married on May 26, 1973 in Queens, NY and moved to Watertown. She became a homemaker and John worked at Champion Paper Co. in DeFeriet.   Mr. Lane passed in November of 2000.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and working on genealogy.

Among her survivors are her two beloved sons and their wives, Kevin J. and Tamara Lane, and Jason S. and Katherine Lane all of Watertown; five grandchildren, Brianna, Grace, Joshua, Harper, and Evangeline; two sisters, Mary Kastner, DE and Laura Hansen, Long Island; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband she is predeceased by a sister, Gloria Donnolly and four brothers, Richard, Joseph, Gene and James Kenefick.
