Alan Thomas Jones, age 26 and a resident of Sunmount, Tupper Lake, N.Y. passed away Friday morning at Adirondack Medical Center, Saranac Lake. Alan was born October 24, 1982 in Watertown. He was the son of Alan D. and Jeanette M. Collins Jones. He attended pre-school at JRC and Watertown City Schools and BOCES. He received a diploma in 2002. He had resided in Chaumont and JRC in Watertown and the past 7 years at Sunmount. Alan enjoyed music, the lake, school buses and fire trucks and spending time with his family. He is survived by his parents and a sister Mrs. Robert Jessica Baggott of Irmo, S.C. His maternal grandmother Virginia Collins o Chaumont and paternal grandfather Thomas G. Jones of Watertown and several aunts, uncles and cousins and the staff at Sunmount also survive. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Chaumont with Fr. Pierre Aubin and Fr. Michael Gaffney co-celebrating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Watertown. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 3:00-7:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
