Albert S. Tibbles, age 50 of Dexter passed away Tuesday afternoon at Samaritan Medical Center. Albert was born January 16, 1962 in Watertown, the son of Earl and Katherine Tibbles Typhair. He attended various local schools. He married Shirley A. Cronk in 1983 in Watertown. The couple lived in Brownville, Herrings and moved to Dexter in 2000. Albert was a custodian at Watertown High School until having to retire due to a disability. He was a member of Natural Bridge Fire Dept. and Dexter Fire Dept. He also assisted with General Brown Football on the sidelines with distance chains. He is survived by his wife Shirley, a son Michael of Dexter and a daughter Kathy Fancher of Watertown, six grandchildren. He also has sisters surviving; Carol Carlisle of Redwood, Alberta Lashore of Watertown, Diane Schraenkler of Adams and Connie Orr of Adams. He was predeceased by sisters Mary and Kathy. A funeral service will be held Friday 2:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with Fr. Kevin O'Brien of Immaculate Conception Church officiating. He will be cremated and later buried at Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 1-2:00 P.M. prior to the service.
