BLACK RIVER, N.Y.  —  Andrea Lynn Leddy, 38, of 5909 Canyon Creek Dr., Dublin, Ohio, and formerly of LeRay Street, Black River, passed June 13 at the James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. The funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 20, at the Woolworth United Memorial Church in Great Bend. Burial will follow in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Great Bend. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 19, at Bruce Funeral Home, 131 Maple St., Black River. Born May 6, 1977, in Carthage, NY, daughter of Patrick Leddy and Gwenna Hickey Albrecht, she graduated from Carthage Central High School in 1995 and was an all-star soccer and softball player. Andrea traveled and lived in Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, Texas, St Croix, VI; and most recently was working at the Honda of America Manufacturing Co. in Marysville, Ohio, before becoming ill. She loved life, lived it to the fullest and everywhere she went had many friends. Among her survivors are her mother, Gwenna Albrecht, Dublin, Ohio; her father, Patrick Leddy, San Antonio, TX; two brothers and their families, Aaron, Sarah, Camryn, Caitlyn and Cavan and Leddy, Von Ormy, TX, Allen, Laura and Addison Leddy, Lexington, Kentucky; a half sister and her husband, Joey and Bruce Daniels, Buffalo, NY; maternal grandmother, Nancy Hickey, West Carthage; paternal grandmother, Edith Leddy, Great Bend; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was previously deceased by her maternal grandfather, Gene Hickey and paternal grandfather, Lawrence Leddy and her cousin Harmony Soper. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute to honor Andrea's legacy.
