Anne Lee Lawler Lasek, 74 of Sackets Harbor; passed away Sunday afternoon June 28th at her home after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her children at the time. Anne was born May 19, 1941 in LaFargeville, the daughter of William and Merle Morse Lawler. She attended school in Clayton and LaFargeville. Anne married Ronald R. Lasek in 1960 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Sackets Harbor. The couple lived in Florida where and worked as a store clerk at Publix Supermarkets. She loved her job, especially the parking lot parties. Everyone was always welcome to her home; where she enjoyed gardening and taking care of her yard. Anne was a loving wife of 53 years and an awesome mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Anne is survived by four children: Noel S. Lasek and wife Debra of Orlando, FL., Ronald Lasek 2nd of Sackets Harbor, Laurie and Peter Waldman of Kellar, TX, Terrance Lasek of Orlando. Her grandchildren Anne Marie, Nicholas, Shyn, Leigh Ashton, Raygan and great grandchildren Noah and Wesley. She is also survived by brothers and sisters: James Lawler of Sackets Harbor, Michael and Yvonne Lawler of Sarasota, Kathleen Maring of Watertown, Lyndon and Elaine Hutteman of Sackets Harbor, Terrance and Wendie Lawler of Watertown, Neil Lawler of Sackets Harbor, William and Colleen Lawler of Dexter, Candice Lawler of Brownville, Patrick and Mary Jo Lawler of E. Rochester, Timothy and Crystal Lawler of Watertown, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ronald, an infant brother Thomas Lawler, brother-in-law Donald Maring and sister-in-law Debbie Lawler. Funeral services will be Thursday July 2nd at 2:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with Fr. Michael Gaffney officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery Sackets Harbor.
