Antoinette S. Komar, 57, of 16219 Deer Run Road, Watertown, passed July 6, 2014 at her home.

She was born on April 6, 1957 in Dearborn, Michigan, daughter of Michael Silka and Genevieve Padzieski.

She graduated from Divine Child High School in Dearborn, Michigan in 1975, from the University of Michigan with a Master's Degree in Zoology, Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a Master's Degree in Public Administration and Criminal Justice, and was currently finishing her Doctorate to become a licensed psychologist and for mental health counseling from Walden University.

She married Dr. Karl Komar on May 28, 1983 in Divine Child, Michigan.  The couple has resided in Watertown for the past 20 years.  Dr. Komar works at Samaritan Medical Center as a Neonatologist.  Antoinette worked in his office for several years.  She worked at BT Counseling in Watertown as a part of her school internship and was currently working at Jefferson Community College teaching psychology.

She was a communicate of Holy Family Church.

Among her survivors are her husband Dr. Karl J. Komar, Watertown; a son, Michael G. Komar, CO; a daughter, Alysia M.S. Komar, CA; her mother, Genevieve Silka, Dearborn, Michigan; two brothers and their wives, Michael and Janice Silka, CA, Gerry and Susan Silka, Michigan; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 10 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.
