Arlene M. Tracy, 71, of 17747 US Rt. 11 Pine Meadow, Watertown, passed July 1, 2014 at her home.

Calling hours will be 1to 3 p.m. Monday, July 7 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.  There will be no funeral service.  A committal service will follow at the N. Watertown Cemetery.

Born on November 10, 1942 in Clayton, NY daughter of Howard Slate and Louis Melvina Besaw, she attended school on Grindstone Island.

She married Harold Tracy on October 29, 1961 in Clayton.  The couple resided in Watertown.  She was a homemaker and during that time she provided day care at her home and was a foster mother to many children.

Mr. Tracy passed November 15, 2012.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and watching all their sporting and school events.

Among her survivors are three daughters and their husbands, Karen and Steven Roberts, Watertown, Mary and Gregory Binion, Watertown, Brenda and Timothy Reff, Cape Vincent; a son and his fiancé, Kevin Tracy and Tonya Money, Watertown; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Yuvon and Phillip Marra, Marie and Orville Humphrey, Virginia Schafer, all of Watertown; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

A brother, Donald Slate passed before her.
