Baxter, 84, of 24459 Rt. 11, Calcium, NY, passed November 21, 2013 at the Jefferson County Hospice Residence on the Ellis Farm. She was born on December 3, 1928, in Glens Falls, NY, daughter of Wilfrid Charbonneau and Florestine Asselin. She attended school in Toronto, Canada. She married Albert Baxter on June 16, 1950 in Toronto, Canada, the marriage ended in divorce in 1981. She was a homemaker and moved to the US in 1979. She resided in Black River, Brownville for 16 years, in Theresa for 15 years and most recently Calcium. She enjoyed going to the Casino, knitting, sewing and playing Bingo. Among her survivors are her companion, William Foote, Calcium; a daughter, Nancy Baxter, Toronto, Canada; three sons, Richard, Michael and Donald Baxter, Toronto, CA; 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Madeleine Carleton, Bancroft, Ontario, Canada, nieces and nephews. Two daughters, Diane Baxter and Melodie Baxter, four brothers and a sister all died before her. Arrangements are wit the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.
