Barbara D. Knowlton, age 57 of NYS Rte 3 Watertown, passed away Friday morning in the Emergency Room at Samaritan Medical Center. Barbara was born July 17, 1957 in Watertown, the daughter of Samuel and Joan Kizzer Johnson. She graduated from General Brown Central High. In 1984 she married Michael W. Knowlton in Dexter. She is survived by her husband Michael and two children: Heather Bragger of Brownville and Stephen Abbey of Ohio. Three grandchildren: Samuel Bragger, Kendra Bragger and Dusty Knowlton, two brothers; Samuel Johnson of Dexter and Thomas Johnson of Florida and a sister Marilyn Stiles of Florida along with nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister Patty. Funeral services will be Tuesday October 14th at 11:00 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with Rev. Leon VanWie officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 2:00 - 5:00 P.M.
