Barbara F. Lent of County Rte 59, Dexter passed away Monday morning at her home following a courageous twelve year battle with Alzheimer's, under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County. Barbara was born July 26, 1938 in White Plains, NY the daughter of William and Frances Rose Brown.  She graduated from Pleasantville High School.  She married Frank Lent on September 7, 1958 in Hawthorne, NY. The couple lived in Pleasantville and moved to Syracuse in 1966 and camped in Dexter until moving permanently there in 1993.  She worked for two doctors in Syracuse as a secretary and later City of Syracuse Schools until retiring in 1993. Surviving is her husband Frank Lent of Dexter and two children: Kathryn Lent of Syracuse and Frederick Lent of Syracuse and a granddaughter Kelsey Lent-Moore of Syracuse. A funeral mass will be held Saturday March 10 ^th at 1:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Church of Brownville, with Fr.
