Betty A. Adams, age 75 of W. Main St. Watertown died Saturday evening at Samaritan Medical Center ER. Betty was born February 6, 1935 in Watertown, the daughter of Stanley and Lida Luffman Saulter. She graduated from LaFargeville High School in 1953. She married John B. Adams on March 4, 1967 in Alabama. She lived in Mississippi until 1970 when she moved back to Watertown. She worked as a waitress and cook for Benton's Crossroad Diner and Ann's Stand in Watertown. Mr. Adams died May 8, 1983. She is survived by a daughter Margaret Elliot of Watertown and a son Charles Smith of Mobile, Alabama. She has four grandchildren and sisters Alice Walker of Chaumont, Beverly Shaw of Alexandria Bay, Sandra Pruett of Virginia and a brother James Saulter of Parish. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
