Betty J. Coleman, 88, of  Bronson St., Watertown, passed January 13, 2018 surrounded by family at the Samaritan Medical Center.

Calling hours will be held  2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, January 17 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at a later time in Arlington National Cemetery  where she will be laid to rest alongside her late husband, United States Marine Corp Gunery Sergeant Virgil (Willie) EJ Coleman.

Born on March 20, 1929 in Watertown, daughter of Joseph and Madeline Clearo Cugno, she went on to graduate from Watertown High School as a member of the National Honor Society.

Betty ( Bunny) worked in Washington D.C.  in the Navy Personel Department and was also employed by the Watertown City School District for 23 years as a secretary in the guidance department at Case Junior High School.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, crossword puzzles, and her dog Chewy.

She is survived by are her four children and their spouses, David (Diane) Coleman, FL, Sandra  Coleman and Jon Kendro, Watertown, Russell (Lonnie) Coleman, Watertown  and Madeline (Scott) Shoen, Watertown, 8 grandchildren,  9 great grandchildren and her loving dog, Chewy.
