Betty R. LaBarr, 89, of Watertown, NY, formerly of Tunkhannock, PA, passed away on March 26, 2017, at Samaritan Keep Home where she resided since January 2016.

Betty was the widow of the late George H. LaBarr.  She was born October 25, 1927, to Raymond and Margaret (Noyes) Rauschmeier, in Endicott, NY.

Betty was employed for over 30 years by the I.L.G.W.U. (International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union) in PA.  She also owned and operated LaBarr's Long Guns and Ammo for many years with her husband on Route 6 in Russell Hill, Tunkhannock, PA.

In keeping with Betty's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral.

She is survived by a son George R. LaBarr, and his wife Patricia of Watertown, NY; two sisters, Dorothy Killeen of Binghamton, NY, and Ileen Weaver of Belleville, MI; four grandchildren, Paige LaBarr of Rochester, NY, George N. LaBarr of Naples, FL, Timothy and Sarah Paddleford of PA; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Betty was predeceased by a son, Michael J. Paddleford, two brothers, Robert and Donald, one sister, Margaret.
