Betty M. Robbins age 88 of NYS Rte 12, Watertown passed away Saturday July 30th at the Grand Nursing Home in Rome, NY. She had been a patient at Samaritan Medical from January until June 29th when she was transferred to Rome. Betty was born December 21, 1927 in the Town of Worth to Ora and Gladys O'Connor Bice. She attended school at #4 in Worth. She married Henry Robbins on July 10, 1954 at St. Celia Catholic Church in Adams. The couple lived in Watertown and then moved to the Town of Brownville. Mr. Robbins passed away in 1986. Betty worked for Bomax Manufacturing working on the assembly line until she retired. She is survived by a daughter Mary Hofer of Piedmont, North Carolina, five grandsons, sisters: Jenny Carr of Glen Park, Sandra Piddock of Worth, Marguerite Brown of Tug Hill, Norma Jean Bice of Worth, and brothers: John Bice of Worth, James Bice of Worth and Richard Bice of Adams. She has several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband and a son James in 1991. There will be a graveside service August 10th at 1:00 P.M. at Parrish Cemetery, Pamelia.
