Beverly A. West, 78 of Three Mile Bay, passed away Saturday afternoon at the Samaritan Medical Center with her family by her side. Beverly was born March 15, 1938 in Sackets Harbor the daughter of William and Bessie Woodard Thompson. She attended school in Sackets Harbor and also in Three Mile Bay. Bev married Glenn M. West in 1969 in LaFargeville. She worked on the assembly line at Bomax in Watertown; but enjoyed being a homemaker taking care of her family. Glenn passed away January 1, 2010. She is survived by three sons: Scott, Brad, Shawn and Cindy West all of Three Mile Bay. She has several grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was the last of several siblings which include; Gerald Thompson, Robert Thompson, Garth Thompson, Cecil Thompson, Merton Thompson, Wilma Strickland, Thelma Mayne, Marjorie Mellon, Linda Thompson and Betty Munk. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 7-9 P.M. and from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral. Donations may be made to Three Mile Bay Volunteer Fire Dept.
