Bryn Patricia
Gardner
August 1, 2015 – August 1, 2015
Bryn Patricia Gardner was born at 1:57 a.m. on August 1st, and earned her angel wings at 5:44 a.m. that same morning, after a battle with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. During her few hours on earth she was surrounded by her loving parents, Christopher and Kayla Gardner, who told their daughter countless times how much they loved her and how beautiful she was as they held her all morning. Also surrounding her were many family and friends. In her few short hours Bryn only knew love.
A Funeral Mass will be said 11 a.m. Saturday, August 8th at Sacred Heart Church, with the Rev. Jonas Tandayu officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sanford Corners Cemetery.
Surviving besides her parents are her paternal grandparents, Donald and Diane Gardner, Calcium; paternal great grandmother, Pauline Egan, Plattsburgh; maternal grandparents, Randy and Patricia Sitterly, Watertown; maternal great grandparents, Robert and Lucille Sitterly, Mohawk; maternal great grandparents, Marie and Wesley Maine, Ilion, NY; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Christopher is a firefighter for the Watertown City Fire Department and Kayla works for the Fort Drum Child Development Center.
A special thank you goes out to the staff from Crouse Hospital on the 8th floor, as well as the doctors from Perinatal Center, Dr. Smith, Dr. Cherrick, Chris Lopez, Jennifer Wolsey, and all of our friends and family who made our difficult time a bit easier.
In memory of Bryn donations may be made to the CHOICES Program 750 E. Adams St., Syracuse, NY 13045.
