Obituary

Carol J. Coryea, 74, of 118 N. Indiana Ave., Watertown, passed July 7, 2015 at her home.

Calling hours will be Noon till 2 p.m. Friday, July 10th at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.

Funeral service will follow the calling hours at 2 p.m. on July 10th at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery.

Born on February 5, 1941 in Watertown, NY, daughter of Edward and Ida (LaTray) Phillips, she attended St. Patrick's Catholic School and Immaculate Heart Academy.

She married Richard G. Coryea, of Malone, on September 13, 1958 at Holy Family Church in Watertown by the Rev. Maurice L. O'Neil.

The couple resided in Watertown.  Mr. Coryea was in the Navy from 1953 to 1957 and retired from the Pittsburgh Glass Co. in Watertown.  He died on November 28, 1986.

She was a homemaker and volunteered for Meals on Wheels and was an avid cat lover.

Among her survivors are three sons and a daughter in law, Richard G. and Francine Coryea Jr., Rochester, NY; Mark A. Coryea, Liverpool, Jason M. Coryea and his companion, Andrea Kellogg, Watertown; three daughters and their husbands, Tari L. and T. Patrick Ryan, Liverpool, Linda A. and James Plummer Sr., Watertown, Elaine M. and Scott Soper, Watertown; two sisters, Eunice Weaver, Watertown, Elizabeth Tanner, Watertown; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Three brothers, Edward, Sherman and Harold Phillips all passed before her.
