Carol Ann Titus, 73, of 933 LeRay St., Watertown, passed December 17, 2015 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 21st at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home with Pastor Ben Mackey officiating.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, December 20th at the funeral home.

Burial will be in the spring at Sanford Corners Cemetery.

She was born on May 25, 1942 in Watertown, NY, daughter of the late Carl A. and Beulah Featherstone Roof.  She was a gifted student and graduated from Watertown High School at the age of 16.  She continued on to receive her business degree from the Watertown School of Business.

She married Ervin W. Titus on October 30, 1965 at the Standard Church now known as Grace Wesleyan Church in Watertown.  The couple resided in Watertown most of their lives. Mr. Titus died September 9, 2015.

Carol worked for Met Life and retired from the Relph's Insurance Agency in Black River, as an office manager after forty years.

She was an active member of the Grace Wesleyan Church where she volunteered from a very young age teaching Sunday school, playing piano for services, she held the secretary and treasurer positions for several years, took great pride in her Bible Club kids and Christmas programs.

Among her survivors are a daughter, Julie E. Titus, and her granddaughter, Alannah C. Henry, both of Oneida.

A brother Robert Roof died before her.
