Carolyn S. Sutherland, 72, of Watertown died Friday, July 15, 2016 at the Samaritan Medical Center.

She was born on July 9, 1944 in Mexico, daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Porter) Sherman.

She resided in Mexico and Watertown for several years where she was a home maker and filled everybody's heart with love.  She moved to Adams where she resided a short time before becoming a resident at Mercy Hospital in 2008 and most recently the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home.

She enjoyed Bingo, knitting, playing cards, listening to music and playing video games.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Sutherland; two daughters, Carolyn Bevens, Richland, NY, Margaret Willis, Cortland; a son, Willie Willis II, Fulton; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Baron and her husband Terry, Evans Mills, SPC David Willis, NC, Melissa Willis, Cortland; three great grandchildren, Thomas, Atheana and Anthoney; a brother and sister in law, Gary and Diane Sherman, Mannsville, NY; several nieces and nephews.

Two sons, David Sherman, Willie Willis; a daughter, Sharon Willis; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Lynn Willis; two great grandchildren, Flower Ann Marie Baron and Atreyu John Michael Baron all passed before her.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service.  Cremation will take place and the family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
