Cassandra M. Thomas, 31, formerly of DeFeriet, NY and of Gouverneur, New York, passed away on September 27, 2026.

Cassandra was born on February 5, 1995 in Watertown, NY, the daughter of Roger Delosh and Laurie Serow. She attended South Jefferson High School and went on to work various jobs in the area including at New York Air Brake, and Kinney Drugs warehouse in Gouverneur, where she was most recently employed.

Cassandra was a talented artist and photographer. She loved plants and gardening and especially loved spending time with her children.

She is survived by her three children, Madilyn Thomas, Zaydin Thomas, and Nash Wilcox; her mother, Laurie Delosh of Tupper Lake; her father and stepmother, Roger and Brenda Delosh of Pennsylvania; her grandparents, Robin and Rick Serow of Watertown; and her sister, Emily Delosh of Henderson. She is also survived by her nephew, Jovi Thomas; her niece, Stella Maitland; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.

In accordance with Cassandra’s wishes, she will be cremated. Burial will take place at New Cedar Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are with Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. Donations may be made directly to the funeral home to assist Cassandra’s family with funeral expenses and may be sent to Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, 117 N. Massey St., Watertown, NY.
