Charlotte S. Busler, age 87 of Ambrose St. Sackets Harbor passed away Monday morning at her home. She had been under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County. Charlotte was born March 26, 1920 in Watertown, the daughter of Charles and Anna Cook Jones. She graduated from Adams Center High School. She married Edward Busler on February 2, 1939 in Watertown. The couple moved to Sackets Harbor in 1946. She worked at Calavo Fruit Packing Co. in Sackets Harbor until their closing and was a homemaker after that. Mr. Busler passed away August 25, 2005. She was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church of Sackets Harbor and their Altar and Rosary Society, also a member of American Legion Auxiliary Harold Townsend Post, The Red Hat Society and was an Election Inspector for Jefferson County in Sackets Harbor. She is survived by the following children and their spouses: Tom and Irene Busler of Sackets Harbor, Sandra and Jim Beaumont of Dexter, Katherine and George Corbett of Adams, Carolyn and Lloyd Royer of PA., Deborah and Kevin Jones of Dexter. She has 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. A brother and sister-in-law Charles and Florence Jones of Stroudsburg, Pa. and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by a daughter Patricia Busler in infancy and two brothers and sisters. A memorial mass will be held Monday 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrews Church, Sackets Harbor with Fr. Douglas Comstock, pastor officiating. Her cremains will be buried at Lakeside Cemetery Sackets Harbor. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County, Sackets Harbor Ambulance Fund or Lakeside Cemetery. Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter.
