Jule 31, 2011 Charlotte E. Hopseker, age 77 of Morris Tract Rd. Brownville, passed away Saturday evening at her home. She had been under the care of her family and Hospice. Charlotte was born March 21, 1934 in Constableville, N.Y. the daughter of Herman and Marian Compo Snyder. She attended schools in Constableville. She married Warren Hopseker on October 22, 1962 in Watertown. Charlotte worked as a nurse's aide and later worked on the assembly line at Cheeseborough Ponds in Watertown. She is survived by her husband Warren and seven children and their spouses: Mrs. Roy Donna Wayland of Ortonville, Michigan, Mrs. Leonard Sharon Zaffarano of Gouverneur, Mrs. Bonnie Patterson of Watertown, Mrs. Sandra Kline of Bath, N.Y., Mrs. Albert Georgia Robinson of Watertown, Mrs. Severin Karen Hopseker of Macedon, N.Y. and Foster Hopseker of Chaumont. She also has 23 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 12 great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, a brother Lester Snyder and a sister Eleanor Weiler both of Constableville and a sister Bernice Skorupa of Lyons Fall. She was predeceased by sons Harrison and Warren Jr. and a sister June Grenicko and brothers Hubert and William Snyder. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Burial will be in Brownville Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County.
