Christiane A. Jung Branche, age 74 of Sackets Harbor, N.Y. passed away at the Summit Village residences in Watertown Tuesday morning. Christiane was born February 19, 1939 in Mandelange, France the daughter of Alfonse and Elisabeth Latourneaux Jung. She graduated from Yolande D'Anjou University in France. She married Donald H. Branche on December 30, 1961 in Saumur, France. The couple came back to Sackets Harbor and she worked in the sales department for Kriff's Furniture in Watertown until she retired due to illness. Christiane is survived by her husband Donald; two sons: Michael S. Branche of Chandler, Arizona and Philip D. Branche of Leesburg, Virginia; a daughter Anne E. Branche of Leesburg, Virginia and a sister Marie Therese of Wheeling W. Virginia and a brother Rene' Jung of Angers, France. She also has five grandchildren and two great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Saturday July 19th at 11:00 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with Fr. Michael Gaffney of St. Andrews Catholic Church, Sackets Harbor officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Sackets Harbor. Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.
