Christine M. Tyre, 53, formerly of  Watertown, NY, and of 29660 Andrews Road, Black River, NY, passed Sunday, March 27 at the Samaritan Medical Center. Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 31 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. There will be no funeral. The burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Born May 27, 1962, in Watertown, NY, daughter of Walter C. and Elaine Joan Murphy Prow, she attended Watertown High School. She married Robert Bruce Wood in May 1981. He passed in 2008. She then married John Tyre on Oct. 22, 2010, in Watertown and he passed on Dec. 29, 2013. Mrs. Tyre was a homemaker and she enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her grandchildren. Among her survivors are three daughters and two sons in law, Marjorie and John Martin III, Utica, Christina and Chaz Jones, Black River, Dorthea LaSalle, Watertown; two sons and their wives, Bruce and Amanda Wood, Theresa, Robert and Christine Wood-Maine, Watertown; three brothers and a sister in law, Patrick and Michelle Prow, Walter Prow, Michael Prow; a sister, Rebecca Prow; 11 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
