Cynthia L. Catalina, 54, passed away September 20, 2017 at Samaritan Medical Center after a short illness.

Calling hours will be 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, September 24th at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.

The funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, September 25th at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Ms. Catalina was born on November 26, 1962, in Watertown, daughter of Charles and Donna (Stewart) Catalina. She graduated from Watertown High School and gained her CDA at Bryant and Stratton College.

She started her 22 year career in Early Childhood which was her passion. She spent the last 28 years with her wonderful spouse, Robert Forkell. They raised 2 beautiful children together. Ms. Catalina had the most open heart and made sure that her family always came first.

Her family loved her very dearly and has said that, 'Cindy was one of the kindest people you could ever meet, she opened her heart and her home to many children over the years and she will be sorely missed.' She is survived by her longtime spouse, Robert Forkell, a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Anne Catalina, Liverpool, NY, her daughter, Alicia Ramsey, Liverpool, NY and a grandson, Brayden Catalina. Two older brothers and their wives, Joe and Joan Catalina, FL,  Jim and April Catalina, NJ and two younger sisters and their husbands, Sue and Jim Bennett, Albany, Tina and Robert Clark, Dexter and many nieces and nephews.
