Obituary

Cynthia A. Goslin, 70, of Watertown, NY, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, at Samaritan Medical Center, with her husband by her side.

She was born on August 9, 1955, in Watertown, NY, the daughter of Frederick and Eleanor (Hatch) Miller. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1974.

Cynthia devoted her career to helping others in the medical field. She worked for Guilfoyle Ambulance as an EMT-3, then at Mercy Hospital in the billing department. She later worked at North Country Urgent Care as a receptionist and secretary before returning to Mercy Hospital, where she worked in the mental health billing department. She retired in May 2014.

She married Frederick J. Goslin on April 22, 1989, at Asbury United Methodist Church. Fred worked for Guilfoyle Ambulance from 1981 to 1996.

Cynthia was formerly the president of the Calcium Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a Red Cross CPR instructor from 1990 to 1996. Above all, she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her great joy throughout her life. She is survived by her beloved husband, Frederick J. Goslin of Watertown, NY; three sons, Stephen C. Bice Jr. of Watertown, NY, Jason R. (Jennifer) Bice of Glen Park, NY, and Travis J. Bice of Theresa, NY; two stepdaughters, Carrie A. Goslin of Oregon and Stephanie L. and Brian Ciezki of Idaho; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Lloyd Rickard of Enterprise, Alabama, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents. Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 4, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in North Watertown Cemetery.
