Daniel M. Spencer age 67 of Dexter died Thursday evening as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Daniel was born August 5, 1943 in Watertown the son of Reginald and Mildred Carter Spencer. He attended schools at various places finishing at General Brown High School. He served in the Army from 1963 until 1965. He married Donna M. Ruttan on June 12, 1965. The couple lived in the Rochester area where Daniel worked as an inspector at Eastman Kodak until his retirement. They moved back to Dexter two years ago. He is survived by his wife Donna, a daughter Mrs. Aaron Connie Plante of Rochester, a son Daniel Jr. of Dexter and three grandchildren. He also has the following brothers and sisters surviving; Anna Gronickel of Parrish, Garnnet Spencer of Massachusetts, Linda Stitt of Webster, Larry Spencer of Dexter, Louie Spencer of Philadelphia, Rick Spencer of Parrish, Bobby Gamble of Altmar, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers Roy Gamble, Ronald Spencer and Jim Spencer. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 4:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Calling hours will be from 2:00-4:00 P.M. prior to the service. Donations may be made to the family or the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
