David E. Farrell David E Farrell of Dexter, age 93, passed away on July 7th, 2015 at the St. Petersburg, FL VA Hospital. David was born January 16, 1922 and served in the Army during WWII. He retired after 43 years at The NY Air Brake Company and began spending winters in Venice, Florida. He was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching football. David is survived by his wife, June, of 58 years. A son Dr. John Farrell of PA, a son Alan Farrell of NY, a daughter Susan Ames of NY, a daughter Keeley Garris of FL, and a son Chris Farrell of FL. Two Sisters, Mary Jane Ignizio of Ohio and Naomi Szuminski of FL. He has 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. David was preceded in death by his son David E Farrell II, a sister Elaine Johnson of NY, and a brother Pat Farrell of KY. Johnson Funeral Home of Dexter is assisting the family.
