WATERTOWN, N.Y. — Demetria A. Sayyeau, 88, passed Saturday morning, Oct. 19, at the Samaritan Summit Villages, Watertown. Arrangements are with Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown. There will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will take place in Sanford Corners Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Born Aug. 16, 1925, in Jacksonville Beach, Fla., she attended school in Florida. She married Charles J. Sayyeau of Watertown on Dec. 24, 1943, in Mayport, Fla. He passed March 20, 1992. Mrs. Sayyeau worked at Gould Electric in Watertown as an assembly worker retiring in the late 1980s. Among her survivors are a daughter, Sandra L. Sayyeau, Watertown; three sons and their wives, Charles L. and Janice Sayyeau, Star Lake, Stephen A. and Sherry M. Sayyeau, Watertown, and Christopher L. and Robin S. Sayyeau, Chaumont; seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A sister, Peggy Coleman, died before her.
