Obituary

Donald J. Heasley, age 62 of Fields Road, Watertown passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning at his home. Donald was born April 7, 1945 in Watertown, the son of Ernest and Gertrude Boulton Heasley. He graduated from Lyme Central School in 1963 and attended Jefferson Community College for engineering for a year. He served in the Army National Guard from 1963 until 1965. He married Pamela R. Phillips July 3, 1973 at Chipman, N.Y. and that marriage ended in divorce. He lived in Henderson several years operating a farm and moved to the Fields Road about nine years ago. He had been working at Lowe's in the Hardware Dept. for the past six years. He was a past member of Chaumont Lodge #172 Free and Accepted Masons. He is survived by a son Todd P. Heasley and a daughter Michelle R. Heasley both of Watertown. A brother David Heasley of Watertown and several nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by a son Marc J. Heasley on July 22, 1993 and a brother Richard C. Heasley in 1971. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with Rev. Dora Schneider, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Watertown, officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Donations may be made to Chaumont Lodge #172 F. and A.M. in lieu of flowers.
