Donna M. Cross, 71, a resident at Kamargo Apartments in Black River passed August 25, 2016 at the Samaritan Medical Center Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 30 at the Bruce Funeral Home, Black River.  The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The burial will take place in the Black River Cemetery at the convenience of the family. She was born on August 5, 1945 in Watertown, the daughter of the late Francis and Elfreda Litz Palmer. Donna married Irving H. Cross of Black River on April 11, 1966 in Watertown.  The couple resided  in Black River where she was a homemaker and she also workedon Fort Drum detailing and camouflaging military vehicles for many years. She enjoyed playing lottery tickets, spending time with her family and crafts. Mr. Cross worked at St. Regis Paper Co. for thirty two years.  He passed July 7, 1992. Among her survivors are her two daughters and a son in law, Kimberly A. and Dale Adami, East Berne, NY, Edith B. Cross, Black River; a son and daughter in law, Irving H. and Rama Cross Jr., HI;  a granddaughter, Danille Cross, East Berne, NY;a great granddaughter, Melissa M. Cross, Harrisville;two brothers and a sister in law, Dean Palmer, GA, Grayden and Roseann Palmer, NY; several nieces and nephews. A sister, Bonnie Palmer and a grandson, Cameron M.
