Doris H. Wolfe , 83 of Brownville passed away early Tuesday morning at Samaritan Medical center where she had been a patient since August 24th. Doris was the daughter of Roy Henry and Helene Gove Lindsey. She was born on August 7,1928. She graduated from Brownville/Glen Park school. After school she married John Wolfe of Watertown. They lived all their married life in Brownville. She worked as a clerk at the United States Postal Office in Brownville for many years before retiring. She is survived by: A Niece Mrs. Darryl King, Punta Gorda ,Florida 2 Nephews- Mr. Jeffery(Mary) Wood, and Mr. Steven (Erika Derouin) Wood, both of Watertown. A Great Niece ,Great Nephew and a Great-Grand Nephew. She was predeceased by her brother Donald Lindsey in October 2002 and her husband John. A graveside Service will be held at 11 A. M Tuesday, September 6,2011 at North Watertown Cemetery with Rev. Walter Giles officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Donations may be made to Watertown SPCA or The Disabled Veterans Association.
