Doris M. LaJuett, 88, passed November 22, 2017 at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home where she had been a resident.

The funeral will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, November 25 at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the North Watertown Cemetery.

Calling hours will precede the funeral on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Born on August 27, 1929, in Watertown, daughter of Charles and Florence Hyde Otis, she attended Watertown schools.

She married Harold LaJuett of Watertown on January 7, 1947.

Mrs. LaJuett was a homemaker.  She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her husband, Harold, retired from NY Central Railroad, he passed on August 6, 1988.

Surviving are three sons and their wives, Dennis and Judy LaJuett, Calcium, Harold LaJuett, Jr. and his companion Melissa Brown, Watertown, Dale and Kathy LaJuett, LaFargeville; four daughters and their husbands, Linda and Robert Flake, Calcium, Renee and Larry Pringle, Watertown, Lori and Leonard Coburn, Adams, Tammy and Timothy Queior, Dexter; several grand, great grand and great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Two brothers, Albert and Leonard Otis and two sisters, Frances and Margy Otis all passed before her.
