WATERTOWN, N.Y.  —  Edna M. Seymour, 67, of 142 Mechanic St., Watertown, NY, passed Friday, Aug. 14, at the Hospice of Jefferson County Residence. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. She was born Jan. 12, 1948, in Watertown, a daughter of Alfred and Pauline (Amell) Bodway. Ms. Seymour was a phlebotomist at Samaritan Medical Center for thirty years, retiring in 2008. She enjoyed playing scratch off tickets, lottery and going to the casino. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Among her survivors are  five daughters and two sons in law, Nancy D. Brown, Watertown, Margo L. Brown, TN, Lynda L.(Brown) and Hector Sabalboro, NC, Korén A.(Waite) Hathaway, Newton Falls, NY, Kristy J. and Allan Sipos Jr., Watertown; two stepdaughters, Cheryl Seymour, Skaneateles, NY, Terri and James Ganter, Clayton; two stepsons and their wives, Shawn Seymour and Laura Cordts, Potsdam, Scott E. and Angela L. Seymour, Liverpool; a brother, Edward Bodway, PA; two sisters and a brother in law, Pauline and Oliver O'Dette, Calcium, Joan Davidson, Redwood; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her husband William E. Seymour and three brothers, Alfred, Albert and Frederick, all died before her. Donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County Gotham St., Watertown, NY 13601.
