Edward McCollum, 86, of 8570 LeRay St., Evans Mills, passed February 9, 2014 at the JRC Residency.

He was born on January 16, 1928 in Canton, NY. In 1979 Edward became a JRC participant.  He was a former member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church and sang in the choir.   He enjoyed listening to Lawrence Welk on the PBS station and other various music.  He also enjoyed going for rides and going to Dodge Pond in Harrisville.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tues , Feb 11 with Rev. Douglas J. Marlow officiating.

Burial will be in the spring at Brookside Cemetery.

Calling hours will precede the service on Tues., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
