Eleanor M. Leonard, 81 of Dexter, passed away Tuesday afternoon at the Samaritan Medical Center ER. Eleanor was born September 27, 1935 in Dexter.  She was the only child of Ray and Marion Eveleigh Leonard.  She graduated from Dexter High School and also spent three years in Bradenton Florida attending school. Eleanor worked as a Book-keeper at Bradley Hardware in Watertown until retiring in the 1980's. She was a member of Dexter United Methodist Church, Dexter Senior Citizens and former member of OES of Chaumont. Surviving are numerous cousins. A funeral service will be held Saturday September 9th at 2:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Sally Buyea, pastor of Dexter United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
