Elizabeth E. Lahair, age 81 of Colorado Springs, Colorado and formerly of Cagwin Rd. Watertown, passed away Tuesday January 6th at Namaste' Alzheimer's Center in Colorado Springs. She had been a resident there a short while. Elizabeth was born April 3, 1927 in Limerick, N.Y. the daughter of Elwood and Lena Sanford Holder. She graduated from Dexter High School. She married Robert Lahair on February 12, 1946 at Bethany Methodist Church in Watertown. The couple lived in Brownville, Detroit, MI, Cleveland, OH, Orlando, Fl, and back to Watertown. She worked in Pontiac Michigan for General Motors as an office worker. She retired in 1970. Elizabeth is survived by her husband Robert of Colorado Springs, a daughter Judy Lahair of Moffat, Colorado. She is also survived by two brothers; Elwood Holder Jr. of Adams Center, N.Y. and Edward Holder of Watertown, N.Y. and nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held tentatively on Tuesday evening 7:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. John Stevens, a family friend will conduct the service. Burial will be in the spring in Brownville Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
