Obituary

Eric C. Robinson, 51, of Watertown, NY, passed away on October 27, 2026, at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY.

He was born on March 8, 1975, the son of Arthur and Kathy (Jesmer) Robinson. Eric graduated from Watertown High School in 1993.

Eric pursued his passion for music, playing bass guitar and drums in bands for over 30 years. His love of music and performing took him to many places and allowed him to meet many people and experience countless adventures along the way. It was during his travels that he eventually settled in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky, area, where he met his wife, Abigail Wright.

In 2024, Eric and Abigail decided to move to Watertown to be closer to his family

Eric was a talented and creative individual with a lifelong appreciation for music and the arts. He enjoyed collecting collectible toys and was extremely artistic, especially when it came to drawing and painting. His creativity and imagination were evident in everything he did. He also loved traveling and the many experiences and friendships that came with his years of performing.

Above all, Eric treasured his family. His children were his pride and joy and what he considered his greatest accomplishment in life. He was also a beloved uncle who shared a special bond with his nieces and nephews. Although he may not have always admitted it, Eric was a secret cat lover, and his beloved cat, Mongo, was his best buddy.

Among his survivors is his wife, Abigail Wright of Watertown, NY; his two children, Nolan Robinson of Kentucky and Logan Robinson of Watertown, NY; his father, Arthur Robinson of Adams, NY; three sisters, Felicia Robinson of Arizona, Kim Robinson of Watertown, NY, and Kialha Hazlett of Watertown, NY; two brothers, Marty Robinson and Arthur Robinson and his husband, Andrew Baldwin, of San Antonio, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Kathy Robinson, in 2016, and his sister, Ashley Lessard-Neron

Arrangements are with Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown, NY. In keeping with Eric’s wishes, he will be cremated, and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
