Ervin W. Titus, 73, of 933 LeRay St., Watertown went to be with the Lord on September 9, 2015.

The funeral service will be held Monday, September 14th, 10 a.m. at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown.  Burial with military honors will follow at Sanford Corners Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Sunday, Sept. 13th from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Born on October 3, 1941 in Waterbury, Vermont, son of the late Wayne and Evelyn (Bradford) Titus, he graduated from Waterbury High School in 1960.

He entered the Army in 1966, served in Vietnam, and was honorably discharged in 1972.

He married Carol A. Roof on October 30, 1965 in Watertown.

Mr. Titus was an LPN at Madonna Home and Mercy Hospital for forty years.  He was an avid walker, member of the Disabled American Veterans Association, and member of the Grace Wesleyan Church where he was the song leader and member of the board of trustees.

Among his survivors are his loving wife Carol A. Titus, Watertown; his daughter, Julie E. Titus, Oneida; a granddaughter, Alannah C. Henry; three brothers and their wives, Gerald and Deena Titus, TX, Rodney and Sandy Titus, VT, Harold and Dawn Titus, AZ; three sisters and a brother in law, Hazel and Kermit Spaulding, VT, Wilma Wilton, Carthage, NY, Cynthia Titus, VT; several nieces and nephews.

His brother Delbert Titus died before him.
