Florence Priscilla Jardin, age 87 of Brown St. Dexter passed away Tuesday morning at Mercy Health Care in Watertown. Priscilla was born August 28, 1924 in Watertown, the daughter of John and Susan Hitchcock Shannon. She attended schools in Watertown and married Kenneth B. Jardin on April 12, 1943 at her home. The couple lived in Watertown and moved to Dexter in 1965. She worked at Faichney's prior to her marriage and then became a homemaker. Priscilla was a member of Dexter Presbyterian Church where she was active in the choir, Sunday School Teacher, an elder and deacon. She was also a foster parent and child care provider for many years and re-upholstered furniture. Her loving and caring smile touched many people. She is survived by five children; Kathleen Doane of Georgetown, Texas, Nancy Jardin of Dexter, Sharon and Rex Satchwell of Dexter, Susan Placito of E. Syracuse and Kenneth Jardin 2nd and his wife MaryAnn of E. Syracuse. She has 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She has one brother Michael Shannon of Watertown. She was predeceased by her husband Ken in 2006 and 16 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be Friday at the Dexter Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gail Parsons officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Dexter Presbyterian Church or the Mercy Health Care Activities Program in Watertown.
