Florence L. Weiler, age 97 of Three Mile Bay passed away Sunday morning at the home of her Son James in Ogdensburg. Florence was born March 14, 1914 on Pt. Peninsula in the Town of Lyme the daughter of Robert and Fannie Graves Phillips. She attended school on Pt. Peninsula and Three Mile Bay. She married John G. Weiler on July 26, 1930. Mr. Weiler died in 1998. She was a homemaker and a long time member of the Three Mile Bay Fire Auxiliary. Florence is survived by her son James of Ogdensburg , grandchildren and great grandchildren, a brother Jack Phillips of Three Mile Bay and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by daughters Elizabeth Hallett, Ruth Hunter and a son Joseph Weiler, and a sister Ila Crandall. Funeral services will be Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Donations may be made to the Three Mile Bay Fire Dept.
