Obituary

Gabrielle Marie Gulledge, 48, of Watertown, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Samaritan Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Gabrielle was born on May 27, 1978, in New Hartford, New York, to Nancy and Howard Fey. She grew up in West Leyden, and she graduated from Whitehall high school. Afterwards, she attended the Finger Lakes School of Massage Therapy. Throughout her life, Gabrielle wore many hats, both personally and professionally. She worked as a General Manager for Dunkin' Donuts and CVS and spent many years bartending at various establishments. However, her most memorable professional endeavor was owning and operating GG's Auto Pilots, a business she built from the ground up.

Gabrielle was preceded in death by her husband, Demearle Gulledge; her mother, Nancy Fey; a nephew Da’Mon Scott; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

She leaves behind her children, DeShawn and MayaAnne Fey and Davionna Gulledge; her beloved grandchildren, Zayvion, Sophia-Elizabeth, and Kayce Fey; her father, Howard Fey; her siblings, Roxanne Fey, Brian and Amy Santoro, Kenyatta Scott, Tim Nellenbeck, Howard Abernathy, and Christina Flack; her aunts Barbara and Sylvain Martinage, and Marilyn and Norman Fancher; her nieces and nephews, Dimetri and Scout Santoro, Matthew and McKenna Quigley, Ta’Shaun Wallace, Ja'Quan and Ni'Asia Allen, and Kelly Flack; She also leaves behind countless bonus children, to include Daesean Williams, Liliana Noyes, and Hayleigh Potter, along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones who became family along the way.

To know Gabrielle was to know a woman with an enormous heart and a home that was always open. She was kind, thoughtful, and selfless, right up until the very end. She had a way of reaching people when they needed it most, whether that meant opening her home, preparing a meal, or quietly giving her time and money. She made meals for those experiencing homelessness and passed them out with no judgement, along with bags of food for their pets. If there was one thing Gabrielle was known for, it was her cooking–and no one ever left her house hungry. She loved bringing people together around the table, and no holiday or gathering was complete without inviting everyone she knew.

Gabrielle found joy in the little things and had a knack for making ordinary moments special. She loved holiday crafts and baking goodies to deliver to friends and family. Many Christmases were spent in Florida, but the years she spent in New York came with a special tradition of going out for a big dinner and then visiting the Lights on the Lake. She loved shopping, especially when she was buying gifts for someone else. She had an extensive collection of clothes, shoes, and purses. She enjoyed browsing rummage sales and pop-up craft markets, and loved supporting local businesses. Gabrielle was an avid foodie, when she wasn't sharing funny videos or memes with her signature adult humor, she was sharing recipe videos.

She loved adventure and making memories with the people around her. Whether that was four-wheeling, spending time at the mud parks, going camping, or sitting around a bonfire, Gabrielle was happiest when she was surrounded by the people she loved. She hosted countless parties and gatherings, always preparing far more food than anyone could possibly eat. She simply didn't know how to do things halfway; Gabrielle always did it big. She enjoyed visiting zoos, museums, and aquariums, making new memories. She loved getting dressed up, going out with friends, having a few drinks, and dancing the night away. She loved going for brunch and ordering three different plates for everyone to “share”, because she couldn’t pick just one.

Above all else, Gabrielle loved her family. Her children and grandchildren were her entire world, and she loved them fiercely. The memories she created, the people she welcomed into her life, and the love she gave so freely will continue to live on through everyone that was fortunate enough to have known her.

Per Gabrielle's wishes, there will be no traditional funeral service. Her family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date, with details to be shared once arrangements have been finalized. She leaves behind a legacy of generosity, laughter, full plates, open doors, and a love that made room for everyone. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.hartandbrucefh.com
