Gary L. Marshall, 78 of Pamelia passed away at Samaritan Medical Center Thursday morning after a fall at home. Gary was born on March 2, 1937 on Pillar Point the son of Donald and Frances "Betty: Willard Marshall. Gary graduated from Dexter High School in 1955 and later from the Watertown School of Commerce. He work at Black Clawson, I.R. Poole in Dexter , Fisher Gauge in Watertown and later started Gary Marshall Tax Preparation from his home. He retired after 1995 selling his firm due to losing his eyesight. Gary married Nancy E. Ganter on July 18, 1959 at the Universalist Church of Dexter. The couple lived in Pamelia where he was a member of Pamelia Fire Dept., a partner in Willowbrook Golf Club and was a member of NYS Tax Preparers. He is survived by his wife Nancy, two children: Stephen and Jean Marshall of Pamelia, Amy Marshall of LaFargeville. His grandchildren are Nicolette and Luke Marshall. His sister Beverly Sanford of Dexter and nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be Monday June 1st at 11:00 a.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Burial will be in Parrish Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. Donations may be made to the Pamelia Fire Dept. or the Association of the Blind.
