Georgia M. Johnson Reynolds, 72, of 102 Pine Dr., Black River passed March 25, 2014 at her home.

Born on June 21, 1941 in Ashland, Kentucky, daughter of George Johnson and Ida Taul Johnson, she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1959.

She married James L. Reynolds on February 5, 1963. The couple resided in Black River. She worked in administration on Fort Drum up until she retired.

Among her survivors are her son, David Michael Reynolds, Black River; two sisters and their husbands, Sheila and Keith Brownbill, Lancaster, CA, Mischelle and Teddy Thornhill, FL; five brothers and three sisters in law, Ernest and Pamela Fitzpatrick, Richmond, VA, Elder Tyrone and Credella Fitzpatrick, Wake Forest, NC, Minister, Paul David and Olga Johnson, San Antonio, TX, Robert L. Johnson, Ashland, Kentucky, Gregory Johnson, Cincinnati, OH; several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband, James Reynolds Sr. who passed in 1990 and her son, James Reynolds Jr., passed in 2010.

A memorial service will be held Thursday April 3, at 11 a.m. at the Bruce Funeral Home, Black River.

A calling hour will precede the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
