Gerald L. Davies, 71 of Old Town Springs Road, Chaumont passed away December 3rd following a heart attack causing a motor vehicle accident. Gerald was born September 6, 1944 in Lake Hopatcong, N.J. the son of George and Beatrice Chamberlain Davies. He attended schools in New Jersey, Scranton, PA and Keystone College in PA. Gerald served in the Army from 1966 until honorably discharged as a SP4 in 1970. E married Beatrice "Bonnie" Raskauskas on July 25, 1967 in Scranton, PA. Gerald worked for American Water Co. in Scranton, PA as a Water Quality Manager and retired after 32 years. The couple lived in Scranton until moving to Chaumont ten years ago. Surviving is his wife Bonnie, three children and their spouses: Carolyn and Patrick Quinn of Scranton, PA, Bernadette and Jeffrey Gushlaw of Watertown, NY, Joseph and Leeann Davies of Moscow, PA. He also has four grandchildren and one great granddaughter, a brother Gene Davies of Branchville, N.J. surviving. He was predeceased by a son Gerald Davies Jr. Gerald will be cremated. There are no calling hours or funeral services. Donations may be made to the Jefferson County SPCA.
