Obituary

Geraldine A. Cratsenburg, 89 of William St. Dexter passed away Tuesday morning at Samaritan Keep Home where she has been a resident for several years. Geraldine was born December 15, 1926 in Depauville, the daughter of William and Anna McCready Hall. She graduated from Clayton High School and married Robert F. Cratsenburg on April 10, 1948 in Depauville. Geraldine worked at General Brown Central School in the cafeteria until retiring in 1987. She was a member of Dexter United Methodist Church and Dexter Volunteer Fireman's Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband Robert and three children and their spouses: Robert and Connie Cratsenburg of Watertown, Karen and Steve Cameron of Dexter and Donna and Rodney Keefer of Calcium. She has six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Robert (Lois) VanBrocklin of Dexter and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers: Willis Hall, Roy Hall, Oral Hall, Gerald Hall and Sisters Iva Masurik, Eileen Staie. Funeral services will be Saturday December 26th at 2:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter with Pastor Sally Buyea of Dexter United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 12:00- 2:00 PM prior to the funeral. Donations may be sent to Dexter United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's' Association.
