Gregory M. Bisnett, age 47 of County Rt 59 Dexter, passed away at 10:00 P.M. Saturday evening at his home. He had been under the care of his family and Hospice of Jefferson County. Gregory was born August 19, 1959 in Watertown. He was the son of Edward J. and Barbara Lapp Bisnett. He graduated from Sackets Harbor High School in 1977. He was a mechanic for Chaumont Marina until his illness forced him to retire. He is survived by his mother Barbara Bisnett of Dexter, a brother Jeff "Pete" Bisnett of Dexter and his grandmother Altha Lapp of Dexter. He also has aunts, uncles, cousins. He was predeceased by his father Edward Bisnett in 1962 and his grandfather Charles Lapp in 2002. A graveside service will be held at a later date to be announced. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Sackets Harbor. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are with Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County.
