Harold E. Pearson Jr., 49, of Watertown, New York, passed away suddenly on December 30, 2025.
He was born on June 14, 1976, in Carthage, New York, the son of Harold E. Pearson Sr. and Donna M. Dollinger. Harold attended Watertown High School and, following graduation, began a lifelong career as a self-employed contractor. He also worked for Zero Draft at Fort Drum for a short time.
Harold enjoyed fishing, playing chess, listening to music, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his two children, Cody R. Pearson and his fiancée, Jennifer House, of Gouverneur, NY, and Cierra L. Pearson of Saranac Lake, NY; and his grandson, Logan Matthew. He is also survived by his mother, Donna Willix of Watertown, NY; four sisters, Lisa Adair and her husband John of Watertown, NY, Angela Willix and her fiancé William Tate of Hammond, NY, Erin Larrabee and her husband Douglas of North Carolina, and Stacie Basford and Scott Bub of Carthage, NY; one brother, John Basford Jr. of Delaware; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
He was predeceased by his father, Harold E. Pearson Sr., in 2014, and by his sisters, Melissa Gardner and Heather Basford.
Calling hours will be held 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, January 5th at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery in the spring.
