Herbert S. Hirch, Age 74 of 25910 Co. Rt. 59 Dexter passed away at his home Thursday morning. Herbert was born on October 15,1934 in Coney Island , New York. The son of Herbert J. and Helen M. Clem Hirch. He attended school in Long Island, New York. He married Ellen R. Corbari on November 12, 1955.The couple moved to Dexter in 1967 where they have lived in the same house for 42 years. He worked at the New York Airbrake for 25 years as an inspector. He is survived by his wife Ellen R. Three Daughters- Ellen A.Harrell, Redding Pennsylvania Patty B. Marra, Watertown Julia A. Van Schaick, Clayton, A son-Edward S. Hirch, Watertown 10 grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren, A sister Patricia Atkins, Columbia S.C. Calling hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 Monday at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, Brownville with Father Kevin O'Brien Officiating. Burial will be in the Brownville Cemetery.
