Holly S. Walker, age 42 of NYS. Rte 12E. Chaumont passed away at her home Tuesday &:05 a.m. She had been under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County. Holly was born November 24, 1966 in Fulton, N.Y. She was the daughter of Rodjer and Nancy Allen Bourn. She graduated from Lyme Central School, receiving an LPN degree from BOCES in 1985, received a bachelors degree from Empire State College in 1995 for Human Services and Counseling, a masters degree from St. Lawrence University in 2001 in Education, Counseling and Human Development. Holly worked for the Jefferson County Substance and Alcohol Abuse Council at General Brown High School as a Student Assistance Counselor. She was a Key Club Advisor and Community Blood Drive Coordinator at General Brown High School and served on the Crescent Bay Yacht Club Jr. Sailing Board. Holly married Rylan X. Walker on August 1, 1987 at the Chaumont Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her children. Holly is survived by her husband Rylan, a daughter Jordan B. Walker at home and a son Rylan X.H. Walker at home, her parents Rodjer and Nancy Bourn of Kernersville, N.C.; brothers Robert Dunn 2nd of Kernersville,N.C., Todd and Ann Marie Bourn of Kernersville, N.C., Chris and Susan Bourn of Dexter, and Rodjer and Rebecca Bourn Jr. of Kernersville, N.C. She also has aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews surviving. A memorial service will be held Saturday 1:00 P.M. at the Chaumont Presbyterian Church with Mother Betts of Christ Episcopal Church officiating. She will be cremated. There are no calling hours.
